Geçenlerde Topkapı Üniversitesi'nin Gastronomi Merkezi olan USLA Kampüsü'nde dünya mutfağının en güzel örneklerini tatmak için hem dış ticaret ve ekonomi hem de dış siyaset uzmanlarıyla bir araya geldik. Ortak görüş küresel ticaretin ciddi bir risk altında olduğu ve bunun taşımacılık fiyatlarına nihayetinde enflasyona olumsuz etkisi olacağıydı. Ağzımızın tadını bozmadan meseleyi derinlemesine ele almaya çalıştık.

Uzmanlar konuşurken aldığım notlar ve ekonomist gözüyle aktardıklarımıza bakılırsa bölgede cereyan eden meseleler birbirine bağlı gözüküyor. Mesela, son günlerde Kızıldeniz'de meydana gelen olaylar sebebiyle 40'lık konteyner fiyatlarının ortalama 3.000 dolarlara yükselmesine sebep oldu. Bu aynı zamanda bir ay içinde 122 artış anlamına geliyor. Ancak birçok taşımacılık firması ek yüklerle 8.000 dolarlara gelindiğini söylüyor. Bu gelişmelerin ticaretinin 80'ini denizlerden sağlayan Çin için olumsuz yan etkileri oluşturacağını söylemeye gerek yok.

Kızıldeniz'deki mesele tam da Çin'in dünya elektrikli araç piyasasını ele geçirmeye başlamasıyla patlak verdi desem yanlış olmaz. İhracatını 2022'den 2023'e 60 artırarak 5 milyon araca çıkaran Çin'in önünü kesecek gelimeler bunlar. Elbette problem sadece bu değil.

Geçenlerde İran kendisine yapılan saldırıya misilleme olarak Kuzey Irak'taki Erbil 'i bombaladı ve "Mossad üslerini yok ettik" diye açıklama yaptı. Bu arada bazı ABD askerî tesislerinin isabet aldığı biliniyor. Diğer taraftan Türkiye, Irak ve İran arasında teröre karşı iş birliği paktı imzalanmasından hemen önce İran'a yapılan saldırı ve Türk askerlerine PKK tarafından saldırı, savaşın bölgede yayılabileceğini gösteriyor. Tüm bu saldırıların arkasında İsrail ve ABD'nin olduğunu söylemek "falcılık" olmaz! Türk askerlerine yapılan saldırının, Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan'ın MİT'in kuruluş yıl dönümünde yaptığı ve İsrail'e gözdağı veren açıklamanın hemen ardından gerçekleşmesi elle tutulur bir kanıt olarak değerlendirilebilir.
